UTech Ja. now accepting CXC Registered Students

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic resulting in delays in the sitting of the 2020 examinations by the Caribbean Examination Council (CXC), the University of Technology, Jamaica has adjusted its entry requirements for the 2020/2021 Academic Year.

Subject to space availability, applicants needing CAPE passes to matriculate into the University will be assessed based on the results of the CAPE Units already taken. These applicants may be given an unconditional offer with a bar to accessing higher than level 1 modules until the full matriculation requirements are satisfied.

Also, applicants needing CSEC passes to matriculate into the University (subject to space availability) will be assessed based on the subjects registered with CXC for this summer’s sitting.  These applicants may be given an unconditional offer with a bar to accessing higher than level 1 modules until the full matriculation requirements are satisfied.
