She is a true team player of the Jamaican 4 x 100 M women team, who exemplifies the spirit of "Teamwork makes the Dream Work" as a sprinter she has made the following achievements:
a) Olympic Gold medalist (2020 Tokyo 4 X100m)
b) Two-time gold medalist at World Championships (2019 Doha and 2015 Beijing) she also received a bronze medal in 2017 in London World Championship (4 X 100m)
c) At the Commonwealth Games in 2018 she copped a silver medal in the 4 x 100m and a Gold medal in 2018 at the Central America and Caribbean Games for the same event.

Upon graduating from Holmwood Technical High School in Christianna, Manchester she was awarded a scholarship to study at UTech, Jamaica

During her earlier years she specialized in the long and high jumps and in 2008 she was in the top three for both events at the Jamaica High School Championships

She entered the pentathlon at the 2010 CARIFTA Games and won by a margin of nearly 400 points

As a junior athlete in 2011- 2012, she began to specialize in the 400 meters hurdle and sprint events. She qualified for the World Junior Championship in athletics as the World leader, and won Gold for the 400-meter hurdles. She is the 2nd Jamaican woman to win this title

At the 2014 Commonwealth Games (her first senior selection), she came away with a bronze medal in the 400 m hurdles
