expected to maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 throughout the duration

of their course and to be eligible for the award of a graduate degree. Failure to

maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 will result in the student being

placed on academic probation for one semester immediately following the

semester in which the academic deficiency occurred. At the end of the period

of academic probation, if the student cumulative GPA is still below 3.0, the

student will be discontinued from the course of study.

The University official alpha grading system is used for the marking scheme

and recording students’ academic performance on their transcripts.
