- Power system operation control, and planning, with an emphasis on applied optimization methods. Key areas include congestion management and voltage stability control using flexible AC transmission devices and other ancillary control options.
- Optimizing Distributed Generation (DG) and integrating Renewable Energy Resources (RERs) to enhance the efficiency, stability, and security of modern power system designs.
