Objectives
a. Provide advanced theory and practice of dosage form design, formulation and evaluation, pharmaceutical analyses and quality control systems to suitably qualified candidates.
b. Improve expertise and build human capacity in the field of Pharmaceutics in Jamaica and the Caribbean Region
c. Improve the research and graduate training outputs of the University of Technology
d. Provide graduate training opportunities for graduates who are desirous of pursuing graduate training through research

Entry Requirements
- A Bachelor in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry or Biochemistry from an accredited institution.
- Applicants without Pharmacy, Pharmaceutics or Pharmaceutical Technology background will be required to complete the Pharmaceutics theory module or equivalent.
