The Diploma in Construction Management is offered over six semesters in three years on a full-time basis. The first year provides a foundation of basic knowledge of construction methods and techniques essential to understanding the later stages. The second year builds on the foundations laid down in year one; in the final year students garner specialization in Construction Management and are concerned with the application of knowledge gained in the first two years.

Graduates from this course should be capable of:

  • Organizing and managing the technical, financial and personnel aspects of construction sites.
  • Supplying technical information regarding alternative construction methods and Costs. 
  • Helping to work out tender figures for contracts.
  • Programming and controlling a construction project.
