Course Details

Our objective is to provide students with the requisite knowledge and skills necessary to transition into the legal profession and foster graduates that are work ready through high quality training.

Students are exposed to the rigours of a comprehensive and balanced academic diet in the discipline of Law. Some of the core modules include Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Law of Tort, Contract Law and Real Property. While students do not specialize at this stage, they are able to select modules from a wide range of electives such as Intellectual Property, Information Communication and Technology Law, Sports Law, Environmental Law and International Mooting to name a few.

In addition to providing theoretical knowledge, the LLB includes practical skills training such legal writing and legal research as students are required to undertake a research project, which involves in-depth study of a particular legal issue. Also, assessment methods typically include moots and presentations, which are simulated court proceedings that allow students to become more adept at public speaking.
