Dr. Jacqueline Coke-Lloyd is the Founder and Managing Director of Make Your Mark Group Ltd. , a UTech, Ja. 60th Anniversary Distinguished Alumni Awardee, and a highly respected business leader with over 30 years of experience shaping organizations, leaders, and national development initiatives across Jamaica, the Caribbean, and the international arena.
Known for her strategic insight and results-driven approach, she has built a distinguished career in general management, organizational turnaround, leadership development, human capital strategy, industrial relations, and governance. Her work has supported both public and private sector entities in strengthening performance, improving workforce effectiveness, and navigating complex organizational change.
Dr. Coke-Lloyd holds a BSc. from UTech, Jamaica, and earned her Doctorate in Transformational Leadership from Bakke Graduate University (USA). She is also a graduate of the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Turin, Italy, and is certified as a SHRM Behavioral Coach, Mediator, and Job Readiness Trainer.
Her leadership experience spans several key national and regional institutions. She has served on boards including the National Housing Trust (NHT), Jamaica Productivity Centre (JPC), University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech, Ja), Employers’ Federation (JEF), Labour Advisory Council (LAC), National Council on Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NCTVET), and the Council of Community Colleges of Jamaica (CCCJ). She is also the Founder of the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Jamaica (YEA).
Internationally, Dr. Coke-Lloyd has represented Jamaica in over 40 countries and has been elected to serve on several boards, including the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the Caribbean Employers’ Confederation (CEC). Her work has contributed to the development and adoption of labour, human resource, and business frameworks through representation with the International Labour Organization (ILO), the United Nations (UN), and the Organization of American States (OAS).
She is the former CEO of the Jamaica Employers’ Federation (JEF) and has held several leadership roles, including Deputy Chairman of the Council of Community Colleges of Jamaica and President of the Optimist Club (Grande Slam). She is also a member of the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica (PSOJ) Human Capital Development Committee, the United Way Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI), and the Human Resource Management Association of Jamaica (HRMAJ).
An accomplished author and contributor to major media houses, Dr. Coke-Lloyd’s publications, including The Middle Managers’ Development Guide, The A–Z of Leading a Professional Life (Good Read Certified), and Self-Discovery for Leaders, reflect her passion for personal and professional excellence.
She currently serves as an Adjunct Professor, Board member of Sagicor Group Jamaica, EBD Jamaica Ltd, Process Technology and Solutions Ltd, Grateful Faces, Charity, and Transformed Life Church. She is an Advisor and Life Board Member of YEA, and a Justice of the Peace for St. Andrew.
Above all, Dr. Jacqueline Coke-Lloyd is a dedicated wife, mother of three adult children, and an advocate for leadership, youth empowerment, and national development, committed to helping individuals and organizations realize their full potential.
