The Office of Distance Learning (ODL) began formal operations as a dedicated, full-service central support unit within the Academic Affairs Division on June 1, 2010. The ODL is responsible for the coordination and integration of support services for distance learning and other technology-mediated educational approaches, such as online learning, designed for the UTech distance learner within Jamaica, the Caribbean and the rest of the world.
