The Drama Ensemble is a group of aspiring thespians who are learning the art of acting and performance.

They are introduced to various forms of acting and stage presentation. They create performances for university and external events as well as mount a commercial production at least once a year hosted by the senior actors called the UTech Players.

The programme is designed to cultivate a deeper appreciation of theatre/drama and its impact on culture, history and social development.  The programme offers physical and vocal training, improvisation, community drama, scene work, productions and field trips.
