The UTech Choir will seek to:

• Demonstrate how choral arrangements can be used to affect the mood of the listener.
• Produce concerts of a high standard (Live/pre-recordings).
• Provide a space where choristers will have autonomy to showcase their musical creative expression.
• Improve the quality of how choral music is interpreted and presented when representing the UTech brand.
• Demonstrate an awareness/understanding of the importance in preserving music that is indigenous to the Jamaican culture.
• Promote high quality musical arrangements with the aim to attract a wide audience through its careful selection of repertoire.
• Develop a repertoire of varied pieces which can be sung at short notice at various events.
• Create a sound for each arranged piece which will be uniquely identified with the UTech Choir.

 Choir Co-curricular is offered Semesters 1 and 2

Mondays 5-7pm and Wednesdays 5-8pm
