The BSc Dental Laboratory Technology course of study at the University of Technology, Jamaica, provides students with an in-depth exploration of the science and production of dental prosthetics and appliances. This course of study is designed to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge needed to excel in the dynamic field of dental laboratory technology within and beyond the borders of Jamaica. 

Students will learn to design, fabricate, and repair various dental prosthetics through a curriculum that integrates theoretical knowledge with practical skills. Hands-on experience in state-of-the-art laboratories is a key component, enabling students to gain proficiency in modern technology and tools. 

The course emphasizes precision, attention to detail, and an understanding of dental anatomy and patient needs. Students will also acquire insights into the professional standards and ethical considerations in dental laboratory practice.

• 5 CSEC/GCE O-Level passes including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and two (2) other subjects.
