The service club has contributed wheelchairs to various communities and organisations in need of health care equipment. Participating in the donation, L-R are Mrs. Kimbeley Waugh, Nurse, UTech, Ja. Health Centre, Mr. Lloyd Eubank Green, Chairman for Wheelchair Project Committee, Rotary Club of St. Andrew, Mrs. Dorsett Gabbidon-Pottinger, Assistant Registrar, Student Services and Mrs. Jemelia Davis, President, of The Rotary Club of St Andrew. In the wheelchair is a UTech, Ja student. SCIT Hosts Student Internship Fair Students participate in a interviews with (L-R) representatives from Particular Presence Technologies Ltd, EGov. Jamaica Ltd. and Ingenuity Technologies Ltd. T he School of Computing and Information Technology (SCIT), Faculty of Engineering and Computing hosted the annual SCIT Internship Fair for its students on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the Alfred Sangster auditorium, Papine Campus. The internship fair provided opportunities for students to better understand career choices and provided opportunities for professional networking and job internship opportunities in the ICT Sector. Third to Fourth year students were able to participate in interview sessions throughout the day with companies seeking to recruit ICT student interns.
