GRADUATE APPLICANT CHECKLIST WHAT HAPPENS AFTER APPLICATION IS SUBMITTED? MATRICULATION VIA PRIOR LEARNING ASSESSMENT • Application Form (manual or online) • Certified copy of Birth Certificate and Marriage Certificate if applicable • Two (2) Recommendations for admission forms in sealed envelopes • C ertified copies of certificates/degrees • Official Transcript of studies • Copy of TRN card (Passport for foreign nationals) • Outline of proposed research (for research courses) • Statement of purpose – 250 words (for taught courses) Once you have completed and submitted your application form along with supporting documents, the Office of Admissions & Enrolment Management will send you an acknowledgement letter advising you that we have received your application and it is being processed. Depending on the course of study, you may be invited to attend an interview. This will vary depending on the course of study. If you are currently taking examinations, you may receive an offer conditional upon obtaining specific results. For Graduate Courses of Study The applicant seeking admission to a taught graduate course of study, but who does not meet the formal matriculation requirements stipulated by the University, may qualify for admission by developing and submitting a satisfactory academic portfolio. S/he must hold at least professional certification*, a Diploma, an Associate Degree or a Bachelor’s Degree with a GPA below the required score from an accredited/recognized institution PLUS at least five (5) years of relevant experience.
