D r. Wayne Reid, CD has con- tributed valuable expertise to several projects in the tourism, management, housing and energy sectors. His numerous achievements, dedicated service and invaluable contribution to his chosen profession has resulted in several awards and accolades, including the Order of Distinction, Commander Class (2006), and the Jamaica Institution of Engineers (JIE) Award for Excellence in Engineering (2019). Dr. Reid holds a Ph.D. and an M.Sc. in Structural Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Canada, a Diploma in Project Evaluation and Investment Programming and a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Civil Engineering from The University of the West Indies. He has over 45 years of experience in consulting, with specialization in structural and civil engineering and has worked extensively in project management, con- struction arbitration and adjudication. Dr. Reid has made significant contributions in leadership positions at the Ministry of Works, Jamaica between 1972 and 1975, as well as the National Roads Operating & Construction Company Limited (NROCC), the Jamaica Engineering & Technical Services, Jentech Consultants Limited, and Geotech Exploration Services Limited. He is a Fellow of the Jamaica Institution of Engineers (JIE) and the American Society of Civil Engineers and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. 14 HONORARY GRADUAND Dr.Wayne Reid, CD
