- Submit Leave Request

- If primary Supervisor does not approve or deny a submitted leave req=
uest
in 14 calendar days
- System will:
- Send email notice of submitted leave request to secondary superviso=
r,
and copy primary supervisor.
- Allow secondary supervisor to approve/ deny leave request.

- Supervisors will:
- Login using Windows username and password
- Select a submitted leave request from a supervisee
- Approve or Deny a Supervisee Leave Request
- If approved, an automatic e-mail is sent to the employee, supervis=

and the designated persons in HR if necessary. Where the superviso=
r is
the final approver the leave is committed, otherwise the leave req=
uest
is made available for HRM approval.
- If not approved, the Supervisor is prompted for a reason and an
automatic e-mail is sent to advise the employee accordingly.

- HR Staff will:
- Login using Windows username and password
- Select a leave request from a staff member
- Approve or Deny a Staff Leave Request
- If approved, an automatic e-mail is sent to the employee, supervis=

and the designated persons in HR. The leave is committed. When
applicable an email is sent to Payroll to stop payment to the staff
member on the leave end date until a work resumption is received.<=

- If not approved, the HRM staff member is prompted for a reason and=
an
automatic e-mail is sent to advise the employee and supervisor
accordingly.

- Employees will:
- Login using Windows username and password
- Select the leave the employee is returning from
- Enter the date the employee returned to work
- Submit Work Resumption

- Login using Windows username and password
- Select a submitted work resumption from a supervisee
- Verify or Deny a Supervisee Work Resumption
- If verified, an automatic e-mail is sent to the employee, supervis=

and the designated persons in HR and Payroll where applicable. The
work resumption is committed.
- If not verified, the Supervisor is prompted for a reason and an
automatic e-mail is sent to advise the employee accordingly.
