
Step 1
Once you have registered with the Co-op Ed Unit, you may inform us, via
ced@utech.edu.jm, of any available Co-op Ed placement opportunities.
Alternatively, you are sent a placement request form at the beginning of each semester. You are required to complete and submit this form to the Unit by the given date.
Step 2
This step involves the selection of students, which can either be done by the School’s Co-op Ed Co-ordinator concerned or by you, the Co-op Ed employer. If the latter option is chosen, copies of select students’ CVs are sent to you for processing. You will then be required to make arrangements to interview these students. Interviewing arrangements must be communicated with the Co-op Ed Unit or the School’s Co-op Ed Co-ordinator concerned.
Finally, you will inform the Unit or the School’s Co-op Ed Co-ordinator concerned, via e-mail, of the students who have been selected for placement.
