Alumni Meet Up O ver 80 members of the University of Technology, Jamaica alumni community turned out for an Alumni Meet-Up networking event organised by the Alumni Relations Office on Friday, October, 4, 2019 at the Shared Facilities Building. Master of Ceremonies, Daniel Jarrett, member of the Class of 2018, kept the festivities going with humour and wit, inviting alumni to interact through a series of ice-breakers and spot- prizes. Guest speaker, digital marketing expert, Mr. Kemar Harris, alumnus of the School of Computing and Information Technology (SCIT) spoke on the topic “How to Create Online Income.” Harris who is Senior Trainer at Internet income Jamaica, shared tips and useful guidelines on the variety of channels through which persons can make money online. These he said include, freelancing, blogging, online publishing and online e-commerce.
