Chief Human Resources Officer, Mr. Maurice Lewin in moving the vote of thanks noted that the 142 members of staff who received awardees amounted to more than 2,000 years of service to the University. Professor Stephen Vasciannie, President presents Ms. Pauline Almon with the posthumous long service award for twenty-two years of service for her sister Miss Winnifred Almon, late Lecturer, School of Hospitality and Tourism Management. Ms. Gwendolyn Haughton, late Clerk, Office of Admissions and Enrolment Management. Special posthumous awards were received by family members of recently departed members of staff, Miss Winnifred Almon, late Lecturer, School of Hospitality and Tourism Management who served the university for 22 years and Miss Gwendolyn Haughton, Admissions Clerk, Office of Admissions and Enrolment Management who was recognized for her over 15 years of service excellence to the University.
