Alando Terrelonge, MP, (left), State Minister in the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport examines the painting titled, “Obatala: The Valiant Warrior” by Akindele Hickling on display at the UTech, Jamaica 60th Anniversary Visual Art Exhibition, titled “Legacies” mounted at the Centre for the Arts, Papine Campus on April 5, 2018. The exhibition featured a fusion of art pieces demonstrating contemporary visual art, architecture and engineering compositions from UTech, Jamaica staff, current students and alumni. Dr. Winston Campbell, Curator and Visual Arts Educator, UTech, Jamaica assists in explaining the art piece. Minister Terrelonge admires the 60th Anniversary mural which was also unveiled on April 5, 2018.
