29 October - November 2017 | VOICES Bi-Monthly Magazine of the University of Technology, Jamaica S ixty-three students enrolled on the Principal’s Honour Roll Society of the Glenmuir High School in Clarendon paid a Courtesy Call on Professor Stephen Vasciannie, CD, President, University of Technology, Jamaica on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at the Papine Campus. The students comprising first to sixth formers were accompanied by their Principal, Dr. Marsha Smalling and senior teachers from the school. The members of the Principal’s Honour Roll Society are students who have earned an overall average of at least 85% for the academic year. President Vasciannie engaged the honour students in a motivational talk in which he shared on a wide range of topics including historical information on education in Jamaica, maintaining high standards and values for excellence and scholarship and other opportunities that they can access towards achieving their full potential.
