Graduate and Undergraduate Applications Now Open for 2021/2022 Academic Year

APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN FOR GRADUATE AND UNDERGRADUATE COURSES FOR THE 2021/2022 ACADEMIC YEAR

Applicants should apply by the following deadlines:

Graduate Applications

May 28, 2021 – for August 2021 Start
August 31, 2021 – for January 2022 Start

Undergraduate Applications

December 1, 2020 – Early Bird
January 29, 2021 – Regular Application Deadline

For undergraduate applicants, the Early Bird option is primarily for applicants who already meet the matriculation requirements.

All applicants are encouraged to apply online.  The online process is FREE and is designed to make the submission of your application as easy and accurate as possible. Ensure that you have a personal email address, this will be required to complete your application.

Six (6) easy steps to follow:

  1. Read the Summary of Undergraduate Courses of Study or Summary of Graduate Courses of Study to identify your choice of course of study.
  2. On our website click on “Applications Open”/ “Apply Online.”  
  3. Click on “Start a new application.”
  4. Complete all four (4) sections and submit your application online. 
  5. Print application confirmation page.
  6. To complete your application, the confirmation page and supporting documents should be emailed to the Office of Admissions and Enrolment Management at applicationdocuments@utech.edu.jm but must be sent/taken in with the confirmation page by the stipulated deadlines. Applicants pending qualifications/results should ensure to email certified copy of birth certificate, then may submit results and other documents by the deadline.

Applicants who wish to submit an application form instead of applying on-line must pay a non-refundable application fee of JA$1,000.00 for Jamaican residents and US$40.00 for non-residents. Payment must be paid at Paymaster before the collection of application forms or upon submission of application forms downloaded from the website. All downloaded application forms must be submitted to an Admissions Representative along with the receipt of payment.

Application forms may be printed from the website at http://www.utechjamaica.edu.jm/forms.

Only one application per applicant must be submitted. Applicants must not submit both paper and on-line applications.
