Accounting
The Accounting Programme’s mission is to provide students with an understanding of the concepts, practices and principles of accounting at the graduate and professional levels. Upon successful completeion, graduates will be able to :
- Set up accounting systems for organizations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements
- Utilize financial information and technology for decision making purposes.
Administrative Information Systems Management
Graduates of this programme will be able to support management decisions with high-quality administrative support systems, utilize office technology to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes and demonstrate competence in front-line management functions.
Finance and Banking
This programme is designed to expose participants to a combination of monetary and financial systems, and principles and practices for practitioners in the financial services. It also provides relevant and challenging educational opportunities that will make graduates innovative, job-ready, sought after and capable of being responsive leaders and communicators in the field of banking and finance. General Management
The Management Programme is comprised of a broad, professional curriculum aimed at developing techniques of analysis and interpersonal competencies necessary for the effective management of organizations. It applies modern management principles to operations in the private and public sectors.
Marketing
Graduates will demonstrate an understanding of the nature of marketing concepts and the role of information in marketing as they conduct marketing studies in organizations, provide support for market-research agencies, and write and execute market plans for organizations.
Entry Requirements
5 CSEC/GCE O-Level subjects including English Language and Math
OR
UTech Diploma in Business Administration or Administrative Management (students will be articulated into the 4 years fulltime or 5 years part-time/evening BBA programme).
