Architect Dr Patricia Green, Head of the Caribbean School of Architecture will be the next presenter of the Faculty of the Built Environment Lecture Series on Thursday, April 16, 2015 speaking on "Positioning Caribbean Architecture and Historic Urban Landscape in Global Dialogue".
Architect Lester Mark Taylor, former Head of the Caribbean School of Architecture was one of the presenters of the Faculty of the Built Environment Lecture Series on Thursday, March 19, 2015 when he presented "Downtown Kingston and the Birth of Jamaican Music".
At the University of Technology, Jamaica Research and Innovation Day on March 12, 2015, CSA tutors Architect Jacquiann Lawton; presented lecture entitled "Vision in Response: Disaster Risk Reduction". Dr Elizabeth PigouDennis also presented on "Useful and Beautiful: Wrought and Cast Iron in Jamaican Architecture".
Dr Alberto Pérez-Gómez (https://www.mcgill.ca/architecture/faculty/perez) of the School of Architecture at McGill University, Canada was a guest lecturer at the Caribbean School of Architecture (CSA) during Architect’s week organized by the Jamaican Institute of Architects, May 26-30, 2014. Dr. Alberto Perez-Gomez presentation entitled "Built upon Love and Cultural Responsiveness" was a part of the CSA Vayden McMorris lecture series held on May 29, 2014.
