The Caribbean School of Sport Sciences in the Faculty of Science and Sport, at the University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech), will host its 6th Annual Caribbean Conference on Sport Sciences on Friday April 8, 2016 at the Lecture Theatre 4, Faculty of The Built Environment, University of Technology, Jamaica.

The conference, the largest of its kind in the English speaking Caribbean, is being organized by the Caribbean School of Sport Sciences and serves as a precursor to the Annual UTech Track and Field Classic.

This year’s theme will be: "Caribbean Integration and Sport Sciences: Global Perspectives, Regional Challenges".

The conference will feature topics from the latest research and collaborative work in the field of sport sciences relating to the development of sporting policies, physical education, coaching techniques, human performance and technology in sport.

The 6th Annual Caribbean Conference on Sport Sciences is expected to attract over 250 local and international participants including coaches, sport doctors, physical education teachers, sport managers/administrators, athletes, students and sport agents, among other sport professionals.
