Mr Oneil Roper Director Facilities Management

The Facilities Management Department exists to provide a clean, comfortable, safe and well-maintained environment for all students, staff and visitors. We plan, design, construct, equip and operate the University’s buildings and infrastructure including the grounds.

The department is headed by a Director who reports to the Senior Vice President, Corporate Services. The Director administers the university’s physical plant which includes custodial maintenance and facilities improvements.

The department is supported by Managers, a Utilities Officer, a Quantity Surveyor, a Construction Officer, Administrative Support staff, Electricians, Maintenance Officers, a Refrigeration Technician, a Housekeeping Administrator, a Warehouse Clerk, a Warehouse Attendant, a Stores Keeper, Housekeeping Monitors, Plumbers, External Consultants and over 90 custodial staff.
